Romance Scam with a Crypto Twist
I met someone on Match.com who said she worked for a high-end jewelry firm in Hong Kong. Our conversations got serious quickly, and after a few weeks, she introduced me to her “family crypto investment group.” She claimed they’d made consistent gains using USDT-based smart contracts and promised to mentor me.
I started with $10,000 in USDT. She guided me through the process, step by step. I felt safe because she seemed so sincere. Over three months, I ended up transferring $536,000 to their wallet.
Then everything went dark.
Desperate, I turned to BitReclaim.com after i had emailed all the evidences of transactions, together with wallet adresses and transaction hashes generated from the outsourced wallets to [email protected], and they jumped into action fast. Their forensic investigators used blockchain tracking tools to trace and triangulate every movement of my funds. They even coordinated with exchange compliance departments to freeze assets. So far, I’ve recovered 6.3 BTC, and they’re helping with the gas fee on the ERC20 portion.
